Our Vision & Mission

The Global Digital Applied Linguistics Association (GloDAL) is a newly established, forward-thinking international academic community. We are dedicated to exploring and shaping the future of language teaching, learning, and research in the digital age.

Who We Are Looking For

We invite passionate and visionary individuals from around the globe to join us in building this community.

Executive Board Members

We are seeking founding Executive Members to provide strategic leadership and drive key initiatives. Ideal candidates should be established researchers, holding a PhD degree
for at least five years, and have expertise in one or more of the following areas and a commitment to volunteer their time:

  • Digital Language Teaching & Pedagogy
  • Second Language Acquisition & Technology
  • Corpus & Computational Linguistics
  • AI in Language Education
  • Language Assessment & Technology
  • Research Methodology & Data Analysis

Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Chair or participate in committees (e.g., Conference, Publications, Membership).
  • Represent GloDAL at academic and industry events.
  • Contribute to the growth and visibility of the association.
